Description of Powerplay Paintball Wakefield

Welcome to Powerplay Paintball Wakefield, a woodland venue less than half an hour from the centre of Wakefield, Leeds, Rotherham and Doncaster. Like our Brighouse venue, this is one of the most handy venues in the North of England.

Paintball is a great idea for birthday parties, stag and hen does and teambuilding events for companies, even for groups of friends or families who are just looking for an exciting day out.

At our Wakefield venue we have many different scenarios: Inferno (the classic barricade field), Salad Bowl (a fantastic woodland field), Missile Map (with lots of undergrowth), the Pyramid of Kenny Ra (pyramids of various sizes) and Stargate Themed game (a tribute to the TV series), among many other locations.

Just for your information, there is an age restriction for paintball. The minimum age is 12 (or 11 if you are in year 7 at school) and an adult must attend the safety talk before the session begins. If the players are under 11 we also offer Laser Tag, played in the same locations but without the paintballs.

At Powerplay Paintball Wakefield, we offer half day and full day packages to suit all budgets and we include all the equipment you need, like the camouflage clothes. Have a look at our offers and prices and contact us if you need more information. Plan your tactical experience with paintball lovers like us!

How to get there?

Leave the M1 at junction 38 and take the exit signposted "Woolley Edge" This will take you through Haigh village on Haigh Lane. N.B. If you are in a coach then you must not use this route due to a low railway bridge. When you have passed through the village the entrance to the site is approx 250 mts on the left hand side. The entrance is through a farm gate and then turn sharp right and follow the track to the car park and safe area Nearest post code - S754DA - please note this is the nearest local house about 250mts from the venue Beware - If you type Haigh Lane into your SatNav it will probably take you to Flockton Village which is about 4 miles from the site.
