Discovering Scotland’s seas was never easier!

We are Wreckspedition - a boat trip and dive charter company based on the Cowal Peninsula of Argyll and Bute. As you might have guessed, our two passions are wrecks and expeditions, and there’s no shortage of either here. We run boat trips around Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde, exploring the coast and learning about its heritage, and we dive below the waves to discover hidden shipwrecks on the seafloor.

Given our beautiful, peaceful surroundings, it’s hard to believe that we’re located just over an hour’s journey from Glasgow. That’s if you’re travelling by water of course, it would take far longer to reach the far side of Holy Loch by driving around the sea lochs, firths and inlets that characterise this part of the Scottish coastline.

But getting around by boat is fine by us. In fact, there’s nothing we like more than setting sail on the Starfish Enterprise, a 7.4-metre RIB, and whizzing across the water. We can take up to eight people on tours of the local area, enjoy the historic sights and natural beauty of the area, while keeping an eye out for marine wildlife such as seals, porpoises, birds of prey and - on occasion - whales!

Wreckspedition is a family affair. At the helm is skipper Jason, a RYA qualified yachtsman and powerboat captain with years of seafaring under his belt. Leading the dives is his wife, BSAC Advanced Diver Instructor Claire. Together, they’re committed to providing an unforgettable experience to their passengers.
