The passion we have for fishing is deep-rooted and stems from our owner, David Norman, who has been on a lifelong fishing journey that has taken him from fishing in Southeast England to West Cork and all over Ireland, where his time has been passionately spent learning the wonders of Bass Fishing from the best in that field.
If you are interested in catching Bass like David, you will be glad to know that the coastline of West Cork is full of Bass, and we operate only 10 minutes from the beach in the beautiful town of Clonakilty.
Bass isn't the only beautiful species that inhabit these stunning shores. You can also find Mullet, which is terribly tricky to catch, but with our expert advice, determination and patience, success will come.
Pollock of great sizes are another species that make fishing in West Cork unique, and we mainly target them on our kayak fishing trips which, like all of our experiences, will be led by a passionate expert that will guide you in the right direction and offer fascinating insights to help sharpen your skills and improve your chances of success.
Enjoying the breathtaking sights and the thrill of fishing are essential factors of our experiences, but another factor we believe to be vitally important is leaving future fishers with a sport to enjoy by using the catch-and-release method. We also have a preferred policy for catch and release on all our fishing trips as we believe in preserving the species we catch and also maintaining a future for anglers to enjoy the beauty of West Cork as they fish for generations to come, but we can make exceptions for keeping fish if it is reasonable and ethical, although the choice lies with you.
