They offer a variety of watersports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. They are all exciting, thrilling ways to get out on the water and enjoy it while getting active. They are both BKSA Kitesurfing certified as well as a recognized Royal Yachting school for windsurfing and sailing.

Welcome to Rye Watersports Sailing where you can learn and practice sailing on the scenic and calm lake while enjoying the ocean breeze. They deal with Dingy Sail Boats which are great for beginners and their RYA certified instructors will give you excellent lessons so you can be out enjoying the water manning the boat yourself in no time!

Welcome to Rye Watersports Paddle Boarding where you can learn to stand up paddleboard on our stunning lake on the Kent and Sussex border. We offer flat water lessons for this fantastic and rapidly growing watersport as well as guided paddles in the area! This is a brilliant and versatile activity that can take you from flat water to more exciting surf to river and canal exploration.

We offer the following:

• Stand Up Paddleboarding lessons: These are 2 hour long courses which will give you training for all of the fundamentals of paddleboarding.
• River Paddleboard Cruise –We offer the fantastic river cruise lead by one of our marvelous instructors and guides. This is a 2 hour tour.
• Stand Up Paddleboard hire: If you would like to discover and enjoy SUP yourself, we offer board, paddle and wetsuit hire.

Rye Watersports windsurfing centre in East Sussex is the perfect place to learn how to windsurf. Established in 1986 we are a family run centre that is chilled out and where everyone is welcome. 

With Royal Yachting Association Windsurfing courses and private lessons for adults and children on our beautiful coastal lake near Camber, Sands, East Sussex in the South East of England.

Only one hour from South London,  Windsurfing lessons are taught on safe flat water that is ideal for anyone new to windsurfing but also ideal, due to winds off the sea, for more experienced windsurfers. 

Day sailors with their own equipment are also welcome and just pay a launch fee on arrival.  We run courses for children, and Kids Camps during the Summer holidays.
