Our luxury yacht ´Bare Necessities´is available for private and corporate charter.

The Yacht

Bare Necessitiies is a fully crewed, high spec, luxury Oyster 82. She is also modern and well equipped, with computers available in all cabins and a high tech computerized navigation area. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious, she has two large seating areas as well as options for you to enjoy alfresco dining. There is one screen in each of the seating areas, ideal for business presentations, or relaxing with a film. 

Corporate Yacht Charter

Our corporate yacht hire provides you and your colleagues or clients with a relaxing day out, enjoying the luxurious facilities that ´Bare Necessities´ offers, as well as our excellent catering options, VIP entertainment and our professional and experienced crew to look afte you. We can suggest an itinery for you, but we also offer flexibility and are happy to cater to your needs. We can also cater for different dietary requests.

We have the option of either day or evening sailing, a great way to enjoy a summer evening, for up to 18 guests.

Our location for corporate yacht hire is usually on the Solent from Southampton, Lymington, Portsmouth, Hamble or Cowes.

Private Charter

Bare Necessities boasts 3 beautiful ensuite guest cabins for you to enjoy with friends and family. The guest cabins are seperate from the crew accomadation, giving you complete privacy.

As this is your holiday, the trip is tailored entirely to your needs. Possible locations for you to enjoy include: 

• West Country
• West Coast of Scotland
• Scilly Isles
• Southern Ireland
• South coast of England
• North and West coast of France
• Mediterranean

The Crew

The onboard crew are professional, experienced, and friendly, and aim to make your holiday and unforgettable experience.

Alex Drummond has been the captain of Bare Necessties since her launch. He has a wealth of experience and has been sailing professionally since 1985. He has covered extensively the North Atlantic Circuits. Not only is he qualified as Captain, but he also holds a Pilot exemption certificate for both Cowes and Southampton. He is enthusiastic and works to exceptional standards.
