The Thames Sailing Barge Lady Daphne is one of the most famous wooden vessels that still sail in London. The 91 feet long vessel was built in 1923 and she was one of the many Thames sailing barges used for coastal trade. Nowadays there are less than 10 wooden barges left in Britain, that are allowed to carry passengers. If you would like to live history for a day and experience how is it when the Tower Bridge is raised especially for you, then come sail with us!
We offer you a wide range of different sailing experiences to choose from. You can cruise down the Thames during the day or at night, you can come clay pigeon shooting with us or spend a whole weekend in a barge match. If you are looking for a special party venue, there is nothing more unique than to celebrate that special occasion on board of Lady Daphne. We can organise and host private birthday or cocktail parties as well as business meetings and receptions. Also, we can take you watch the races at Cowes or help you host an amazing dinner party or buffet for 6 to 60 guests.
Although Lady Daphne can carry 54 passengers and 3 crew, if you would like to participate in sailing, we recommend that you come with a smaller group.
