We are a recognised RYA and BCU training centre which means we offer official training from these recognised organisations and we are also licensed under AALA. We also offer equipment hire and are a great location to host special events such as birthday parties or school excursions.

Welcome to Fairlands Valley Park Kayaking! We are an excellent outdoor adventure centre in Stevenage with an onsite lake of 27 acres which is perfect for kayaking! Kayaking is a fantastic watersport for everyone as it is easy and quick to pick up but a watersport that can offer endless fun.
We offer courses for both adults and youth alike and as an official BCU training centre we can offer the following course:
All of our courses are run by our qualified and enthusiastic instructors and they will cater your tuition to your needs.

Request Information FREECome out and learn to sail with the Fairlands Valley Park Sailing! Located in Stevenage, we boast as excellent outdoor centre with over 120 acres and a 27acre onsite lake which is perfect for learning to sail! As an official RYA Training Centre we offer official courses for both youth and adults alike and we specialise in dinghy sailing.
We can take anyone over the age of 8 out in a boat and we offer excellent dinghies as well as friendly and qualified instructors for all of our lessons.
We run RYA Level 1 and Level 2 dinghy sailing under the Seamanship Skills and Spinnaker Handling schemes. We are also able to offer private tuition if arranged beforehand. We also offer the Sailability program for those with disabilites.
From our fleet of dinghies we can also hire out boats for those with sufficient sailing experience.

We at the Fairlands Valley Park Windsurfing offer a brilliant onsite lake that offers perfect waters and a great environment for windsurfing. Located in Stevenage, we are a great outdoors centre that offers this brilliant watersport.
Our modern windsurfers have modern widestyle boards (which are great for stability) and lightweight rigs that make your learning quite and easy.
We offer official the RYA Start Windsurfing course that are carried out over 2 days. This course offers both practical and theoretical training and will make you a confident and competent windsurfer in no time. We can also offer a 1 hour taster session for those curious to try but not sure if they will like it or not.

If you are looking for RYA Powerboating training, Fairlands Valley Park Powerboating can offer you excellent tuition. We offer a various official RYA training courses and assessments which include theory and practise on the water on our onsite 27acre lake.
