Who is in our team? Neil McCarthy, an Electronic Engineering Technician who is specialised in Biomedical. He has been working for over 30 years in the aeronautical industry and has been certified as Chief Pilot by the national Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

You may wonder if you can really learn something from a simulator. The answer is yes. Actually, we teach and train different pilots each year. We know that we work with a software but the truth is that there are some issues and concepts that we can reinforce and learn using this kind of program.

We know that you've watched the whole film series Mission: Impossible and you have been struck by Tom Cruise jumping from a helicopter. We propose you a plan: no leaping, but flying. Imagine that you are the pilot who is taking up Cruise and you have the whole city at your feet. How would you feel? Exhilarating, right? That's what we do at Flight Simulator Centre: you come, you get into a helicopter cabin and you fly.

To do so, you have to drive to Brunswick Industrial Estate, an industrial area in Newcastle. In particular, you have to go to unit 5. However, if you come from a different part of the country or another country, we must remind you that Newcastle International Airport is just 8-minute drive away from our installations.

What does it make us different? Technology. We have invested in the best equipment, tools and software to get and put at your service a real-life experience. Of course, you will learn how to use the mechanisms, how to take off and keep the helicopter steady and, perhaps, some turbulences will challenge you and will make you improve your skills.
