This kayak tour is suitable for adults 16 and over, perfect for any special occasion, such as corporate events, birthday parties, and stag and hen parties.

Kayaking gives you a unique perspective of stunning scenic surroundings and a chance to get a closer look at the local wildlife and learn new watersport skills from an expert.

An inspirational guide will lead you through this adventure using the local expertise to determine the best route, tailor the experience based on the group's needs, and use their qualifications as an instructor to take your skills to the next level regardless of previous kayaking experience.

Lough Derg is truly a treasure of Tipperary, and we wouldn't want you to explore it without the best equipment, so we only use top-quality kit, which includes a wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet and paddle. We also provide a choice of top-class kayaks, such as single & double, sit-on, and sit-in.

This two-hour session includes a safety briefing and a skills introduction.

We suggest you bring a spare change of clothes and an old pair of trainers if you are okay with getting wet. Bring your wetsuit if you have one. You should and a swimsuit to wear underneath it and pack any necessary medicines, water and snacks.
