Description of 2 Day Navigation Masterclass (18yrs+) in Snowdonia

You can become a confident and skilled mountain navigator in two days; all you need to do is let us guide and instruct you!

This course takes novices from a beginner level to a solid intermediate level with the help of one of our navigation experts, that is fully qualified to lead you and provide a navigation masterclass in the mountains of Snowdonia.

In addition to being a fantastic way to explore the picturesque Ogwen Valley and many spectacular locations around the stunning Snowdonia national park, you will learn essential skills for traversing marked paths and tracks through hills or lowland mountain environments with a sense of confidence and independence.

You will learn how to properly use a compass and map to pre-plan walking routes and stick to this path to reach your destination successfully; this is excellent practice for future adventures and a fun way to spend time with friends and family exploring North Wales.

This session has a minimum age limit of 18, but we will make an exception for those 14 and over if a parent or guardian accompanies them.

We will provide any essential equipment, but we advise that you wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear depending on when you take the course. We also suggest bringing a packed lunch and drinks as you will move about for several hours over two days.

The course meeting point is Capel Curig.

Join us now to learn some vital mountain skills and have an unforgettable adventure while you are doing it!
