Southend Kitesurfing is based in Southend on sea in Essex and delivers Kitesurfing lessons from beginner to Instructor level. Owner Steve, also runs Instructor training courses worldwide.

Everything needed for the course is included free in the price and you can relax knowing that we have full civil liability cover and are appoved by local authorities.
Our lessons:
Beginner Course
Learn with friends or meet new people! This 2 day course is a full introduction to kite surfing covering all the essential skills and knowledge to get you started.
To maintain a high level of service we keep group lessons to a ratio of 2 customers per Instructor, we will however accept larger groups up to 4 per Instructor but by special request only.
Group lessons for beginners are over 2 days and run from approximately 10am to 4pm including an hours lunch break, but may vary depending on tides and weather on the day.
Private lessons
These are 2 hours minimum, 3 hours maximum. A 1 hour lesson can be booked but will be land based only. This can be handy for tuning equipment, perfecting launching skills, self rescue technique etc.
With Southend Kitesurfng we will always do our best to run your lesson on your chosen date, however in the UK the weather is very hard to forecast accurately so we cannot guarantee this. In the event of the weather being unsuitable we will offer a new date to complete any remaining time on your course.
Private lessons offer a greater degree of flexibility as we can check the weather and text or call on the day to confirm the lesson will go ahead.
