We combine excellent climbing instruction with our very own cliffs on-site to offer a great experience without all of the travel and hassle. The Quarry, our climbing location, is perfect for people of all levels of experience with great routes for juniors and novices, as well as 5 intermediate and hard routes so that no matter whom you are you will have a great challenge to conquer.

We will supply all of the safety gear you need to take on these climbs as well as providing full instruction on the day so that novice or not you feel secure and confident as you climb. We can be quite confident when we say that there are not many that offer an Abseiling experience like ours. Whereas other will chose venues such as cliffs or towers, we at Min y Don have chosen a great Scot's Pine to deliver this exciting adventure in a a safe and controlled environment.

Once you have climbed the 30 feet up to the platform at the top, your instructor will give you a quick briefing, teaching you how to control your descent before you go over the side, taking in the view of the Mawddach Estuary as you free abseil through space back to the ground 30 feet below.

Choose from a range of fantastic adventure race courses and explore our wide and beautiful location when you join us at Min y Don Christian Adventure Centre Orienteering.

There are five courses of varying difficulty and challenge to choose from, starting at the practice Blue Course right by the Centre you can choose to progress to the White, Yellow, Orange and Green which will take you around the whole 13 acre site.

You will be trained at the beginning of the day in navigation techniques, but the real way to win is by working as an effective team. For this reason Orienteering is a great activity for youth groups, schools and corporate teambuilding events, though any and all can join in and have a great time!

Feel the fear and do it anyway as you take on this great adventure, we can guarantee you will take home some tall stories when you join us on the Min y Don Christian Adventure Centre High Ropes Course.

Once you are strapped into your harness and hooked into the lifeline belay system by your experienced instructor it is time to climb the heights and take on the gauntlet of challenges we have in store for you.

Choose which you want to take on, and which you want to avoid or take on the whole course which includes the Vertical Challenge assault course straight up made up of rope ladders and poles, a series of balance beams which can be taken walking across or hanging underneath if you are feeling adventurous, leap for the Trapeze Jump 30 feet above the ground and the Scales of Justice will see you having to work together to cross from platform to platform across the wobbly planks.

Welcome to Min-y-Don Christian Adventure Centre Canoeing! Set on the tranquil Mawddach Estuary, we offer an excellent location for canoe paddling experiences for all abilities. Our canoeing experience whisks you off to stunning natural locations where paddlers can enjoy learning canoeing skills while enjoying an unforgettable adventure out on the water.

We as an outdoor activity provider offer our paddling sessions with training for those new to paddling as well great excursions to explore more of the area. We can add games to spice things up, making canoeing a great experience for groups! With capacity for up to 4 paddlers per boat, this is a great activity for school trips, youth groups and families looking for a new outdoor experience. Our instructors are friendly and welcoming!

Our kayaking adventures at Min-y-Don Christian Adventure Centre Kayaking are some that aren´t to be forgotten! We are based on the shores of the peaceful Mawddach Estuary with Min-y-Don very nearby, making our location excellent for pleasant kayaking experiences for all levels of paddlers.

Our kayaks hold one paddler per boat and in these marvelous crafts kayakers can enjoy the open water of the estuary, paddle upstream or even play games! Our qualified instructors provide everyone with some prior training beforehand so that everyone is confident and competent with the paddle.
