We are an outdoor company that offers the best experiences. From Hiking to Kayaking, from orienteering to canoeing, we have it all.

We offer the BCU 2 and 3 Star Award training and canoeing expeditions throughout Greater Manchester. We also have guided tours and courses for those who want to try it for the first time. We adjust and go according to our customers' needs. The BCU 2 star award is for learning paddling skills and techniques for flatwater canoeing, while the CU 3 star is for furthering your skills and even adding some white water paddling!

Our instructors are qualified and expert paddlers. All of them are highly committed to delivering the best canoeing adventures. We always ensure everyone's safety during our canoeing trips. We provide safety briefings and equipment.

We are a multi-adventure company located in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, providing the best and most exhilarating outdoor adventures. We are proud and confident to say we have the best experiences you can get around the area.

We offer introductory and taster kayaking courses, white water kayaking, and BCU 3 Star training and assessment. Our open courses take place just a short drive from Manchester on either Toddbrook Reservoir in Whaley Bridge on the edge of the Peak District or rivers like the River Mersey (south Manchester) or the River Lune (West Yorkshire). We guarantee you all of our venues deliver great experiences with amazing views and a refreshing environment. You won't be disappointed.

Flatwater and taster sessions are suitable for all. They're designed to be a fun introduction to kayaking and a chance to go exploring the lake from a different perspective. Your expectations will be exceeded.

Come with us at Wilderness Development Canyoning for the ultimate gorge walking experience. This adventure consists of trekking through small gorges and mountain streams, either up or downstream. Adventurers will get to climb, abseil, slide, jump and swim and get wet!

This is a marvellous group adventure! Come along with your group of friends, family or colleagues for a special event or just for a day of outdoor thrills! Our excursions can be suited for everyone as if there is something you don't feel comfortable tackling. You can sit it out.

Gorge walking is a trip along a small mountain stream, overcoming the obstacles along the way using a variety of physical methods. If we go upstream, you'll need to climb; downstream, you'll jump or abseil. Then you'll swim across pools, wade through shallow sections, slide down slopes, and climb up through waterfalls.

We are a company based in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, offering the most exhilarating adventures with outdoor activities. Hiking is one of the experiences you cannot miss with us.

You can enjoy guided hikes and walks in areas of natural beauty with us. We have different venues to escape reality and daily routines like Middlewood, Shuttleworth or the Peak District. We will take you to the peaks and places that you wouldn't normally be able to go to! This is a great way to get fit and give your eyes a real treat!

Our walks are suitable for adults and, our instructors always motivate you to give your best. They are highly trained and will provide an interesting and engaging hiking experience, where you will learn all about the surrounding wildlife and plants, local history and navigation skills.

You can arrange your hike for your group of friends, family or even colleagues to share this unique experience! Experience is not required but, you need to be aware that you will be walking a lot. We run our climbing sessions on natural crags in the Peak District, around 45 minutes from South Manchester.

You can come along for a taster season and learn the essentials of climbing if you consider yourself a beginner. We promise you that after our climbing sessions you will feel confident with your newly acquired climbing skills!

Our qualified instructors will teach you the basics of climbing like belaying, ropework during your session, getting you ready for more difficult climbing experiences in the future!

This is a great activity for groups and special events like Teambuilding events or birthdays. Children +10 years old may come along for the adventure, but if they are under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. It's a great opportunity for parents and children to get involved in a common activity.

Welcome to Wilderness Development Caving!

We are an outdoor activity company, with the main goal to provide the best outdoor experiences. We are proud to say we have exceeded the expectations of everyone who comes.

Our caving experience is Weaseling, caving but above-ground activity! We run this activity in Higgar Tor, a short drive away from Stockport. This is an activity that will have you squeezing through openings, tunnels, gaps and exploring caves. It's a brilliant active adventure but not for the claustrophobic!

We have half-day and full-day sessions to explore caves and between the rocks. We would love to say that our Caving-Weaseling adventures are for everyone but, good physical condition is required for this challenge. It is great fun for anyone who doesn't mind getting into small spaces and complex tasks.

Come have a go at abseiling at Wilderness Development Abseiling and face the challenge of dealing with heights as you lower yourself down vertical descent!

We are a multi-adventure company located in Greater Manchester, offering the most exhilarating outdoor activities around the area. We can take you for an abseiling experience in the popular Windgather Rocks or Wiltons if you are looking for somewhere north of the city. We also run our abseiling adventures in the Peak District Crag, in the South of Manchester. You will love either place. They provide the most challenging adventures you can ever find.

Our abseiling sessions are normally combined with climbing, as abseiling is perfect for getting down the crag after conquering it! We can accommodate groups of all sorts for anyone over the age of 10 (although if less than 18, there must be a parent present).

You are welcome to come with your group of friends, family and even coworkers. We can arrange any kind of event for you. Birthdays, stag and hen parties, corporate and team building events, youth activities and more, are a few of the activities we have had in our company.

Welcome to Wilderness Development Orienteering, where you can become a navigation expert! We offer courses for those new to map and compass reading or, for those who wish to improve their skills when it comes to micro navigation. We have a selection of courses for everyone and, we are located conveniently just outside of Manchester.

Our instructors have plenty of experience under their belt and, every one of them is a qualified Mountain Leader. Their instruction will help you become confident and competent with orienteering tools and help you find your way home each time safely.

Orienteering is the perfect activity to bond with people you love while you explore nature and connect with it. You don't need to be an expert, although you will have to be willing to walk for quite a time. You can come with your friends or family. We can even arrange events such as corporate and team building events.
