We are a professional and top-ranked surf school established in Sligo in 2018 under the guidance and coaching of owner Seamus Mc Goldrick, a native Irish surfing pioneer. Our dedicated surf instructors love introducing people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to the sport of surfing: the ancient Hawaiian sport of kings and queens.
You can find us in the Failte Ireland National Surf Centre at Strandhill Beach where you will enjoy our brand-new facilities. We run surfing and bodyboarding classes as well as team-building activities and summer camps for children, teens and adults. We run our surf sessions all year (except January and February) offering a high-quality service with a friendly, personal and safe approach.
As well as being a top-ranked European surf school, we were voted the Irish surf school of the year 2020 by the Travel and Hospitality Awards by always doing our best to provide a premium and fun outdoor experience you won't forget at Strandhill Beach.
Seamus has over 28 years of surfing experience at Strandhill Beach. All our trained instructors are Irish Surfing approved surf instructors and beach lifeguards.
