At Isle of Wight Adventure Activities Paddleboarding, you will meet at Freshwater Bay, where you will get your gear (A wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet)  

When you go Paddleboarding, you use a paddle to move yourself across the water while standing on a board. In these classes you will learn how best to do this. Depending on the weather conditions, you may be able to surf the waves in the bay, or just paddle around the area and enjoy being out on the water in an amazing location.

All equipment for the activity will be supplied, and your guide will offer tips and hints in order for you to improve your techniques. The Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) trips are for beginners or families that would like to stay together.

The Isle of Wights cycling facilities have been a hidden jewel for years. Now it is receiving the recognition it deserves with The Lonely Planet recently naming it one of the best places to go cycling in the world.

There are many different types of terrain that offer something for everyone, whether you want to just do some road cycling, some touring or proper mountain biking. Take a leisurely trip with your family or try some downhill mountain biking. If you want more of a thrill, why not try some dirt jumping or road racing?

No matter what you like, with its network of family friendly cycle tracks that cross the island, as well as its fast down hills and jumps, you will find that the Isle of Wight will meet your needs perfectly.

If you want a wide range of challenges for all rock climbing abilities and for all ages, Isle of Wight Adventure Activities climbing wall at Sandown has it all. With a helmet and harness supplied, and an experienced climbing instructor on hand to ensure your safety and give you some helpful hints.

The 2 hour climbing sessions are available every Friday morning during the school holidays, and  while the sessions are aimed at novice climbers, those with more experience are welcome to try the huge range or routes available.

The rock climbing wall at Isle of Wight Adventure Activities is realistic and 45ft high.  No matter your skill level, you will have a very enjoyable time climbing the wall at Isle of Wight Adventure Activities.

Isle of Wight Adventure Activities Laser Tag takes place in the woods and fox holes of Newport Downs. An exciting and fun alternative to paintballing and airsoft, you will have a blast running around the woodland, hiding from your ‘enemies’ and planning your ambushes. Work on your skills by sneaking up towards the other teams base, and avoid getting tagged by them!

Just five minutes drive from Newport, there are many types of different challenges and combat games that you can do. Laser tag is ideal for children, so have a two hour session with your whole family and have fun while bonding or give your child a really fun party with their friends.

Stag and Hen groups can book a private game, with food and drink provided.

At Isle of Wight Activity Adventure Centre there are two different levels of orienteering courses that you go do, depending on your groups skills and experience. Navigate around Mottistone Down, with the Neolithic Longstone. As a supported walk, this is a great activity for young children and families, or for older children on their own.

The second course is based in Parkhurst Forest, and can be adapted to make it a challenge even for someone who is the most competent navigator. Everyone who takes part in an orienteering course will receive a certificate of achievement.

As orienteering can be done as fast or as slow as you like, it is ideal for large groups and families, or school groups as one of the many activities that you can do with Isle of Wight Activity Adventure Centre.

A sport that requires skill, offers challenge, and is exciting and easy to pick up – and fun for the whole family! Isle of Wight Adventure Activities offers one hour sessions where you will be introduced to the sport, including all aspects of safety, how to use the equipment and how to shoot well.

With just two people per target, you wont have to wait around forever for your next turn, and Isle of Wight Adventure Activities can also provide you with high quality sights for your bow, so that you develop your skills better and get the bullseye (almost!) everytime.

Ideal for a fun family activity that everyone can enjoy and take part in. The Archery courses take place at Isle of Wight Adventure Activities base at Apple Orchard.

Jump over rockways, swim through wave filled gaps, climb up cliffs and duck underwater to discover caves invisible from the outside. Starting at Apple Orchard, up the road from Freshwater Bay, after getting ready and listening to the safety briefing, your adventure begins. You must be able to swim 25 metres in order to take part in this exciting activity.

Perfect for a hen or stag weekend, as after the activity you can relax in the garden with a drink from the café and talk about who jumped the highest, dived the deepest and many other things that will happen to you on your trip!
