Junior Half Day Abseiling Session at Backbarrow

Children are naturally curious and eager to learn about the world. If you enjoy abseiling and want to introduce your child to the sport, take advantage of this opportunity!

We do abseil activity at Backbarrow, South Cumbria, wherein we have plenty of locations for you to enjoy and explore! Amazing views and landscapes would be seen by participants as they go down from high rock formations.

As they would be the ones to control their movements, their stamina, and quick thinking would be put to the test. Aside from that, they'd acquire skills and abilities you'd never expect.

Half the day is required for partakers to get the most out of this exercise. As this offer is only for youngsters, the maximum age is 17. Please also keep in mind that groups must include a minimum of 4 persons and a maximum of 15.

We provide sessions that before anything else, the required gear and equipment (waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers, and personal and group safety equipment) will be equipped first to participants. On the other hand, they must provide warm outdoor clothing to combat weather conditions.

Participants will also receive a safety briefing with our certified instructors. A training abseil session will be set up by the instructor to demonstrate tips and practice proper strategies. The instructor will then select an appropriate abseil for them.
