Fearless Adventure is the outdoor experiences provider for you! The activities that we offer usually involve some element of fear, something that seems scary when you see it. Sharp axes, white water, mountainous peaks - these are things that we don’t normally come into contact with on the daily. Our goal is to help people confront their demons, do something new, and experience personal growth as a result!
We are based in Alnwick, Northumberland. This is a wild corner of England, sparsely populated and blessed with beautiful landscapes. We run watersports activities here, including Canoeing, Kayaking and Paddleboarding as well as dry land activities such as Axe Throwing and Hiking. If you can’t make your mind up, try Coastering! We also run trips and excursions to other areas of natural beauty and challenge, frequently over the border in Scotland.
As a family-run business, we can guarantee you a personal touch and a commitment to safety that you might not find with other companies. We keep group sizes small, to ensure that our experienced outdoor instructors can supervise all customers effectively, and we use the best in outdoor equipment and safety gear. Our partnership with the Coast and Castles Campsite, where you’ll find our headquarters, also helps us deliver fantastic customer service - in the form of food trucks and a bar!

One of our most popular activities at Fearless Adventure is Canoeing. We use Canadian-style canoes for a variety of high-quality experiences, both at our base in Alnwick, Northumberland, and further afield.
Canadian canoes are easy boats to get the hang of - stable, spacious and easily paddled - but we’re not content to just potter about on flat water. Our excursions see us navigating the border between England and Scotland on the RIver Tweed, facing white water on the rapid rivers of the north of the British Isles, and completing multi day tours in spectacular landscapes such as the highlands Perthshire, in Scotland.
Alongside canoeing, we run a number of watersports experiences. Paddleboarding and Kayaking are excellent alternatives that everyone should try, Coasteering is an immersive activity on land and sea, while we offer Hiking and Axe Throwing for those who don’t like to get their feet wet!
Whatever activity you choose, you can expect the highest quality service with us. We’re a family operation and there’s nothing we like better than putting a smile on our customers’ faces, and there’s nothing that’s more important than their safety.

Fearless Adventure brings you the watersport par excellence - Paddleboarding. Imagine walking on the surface of the water, able to turn and look in every direction and feeling an immersion in the environment.
Our location near Alnwick on the North Sea coast of Northumberland is the perfect jumping off point for all kinds of SUP (Stand-Up Paddleboarding) adventures. One of our favourite destinations is Bolam Lake, where flat water and wooded banks make for tranquil paddling - or even a spot of SUP yoga. Then there’s the River Coquet which winds its way through the landscape, passing some fascinating historical landmarks, to the sea at Amble. Besides those two, we’re always open to suggestions!

There are several peaceful spots within easy reach of our headquarters outside Alnwick on the coast of Northumberland. Amble is one of them. This is where the River Coquet finally meets the North Sea after meandering for over 60 kilometres from its source in the Scottish borders. When it comes to wilder rides, we have several white water kayaking locations in the North of England where we can prepare you for British Canoeing qualifications.
Kayaking, along with Paddleboarding and Canoeing, is one of the holy trinity of paddle sports. We offer experiences in all three for participants of all ages and abilities. Also on the menu are the extreme sports of Coasteering and Axe Throwing and guided Hiking trips in the Scottish Highlands.

Our coasteering sessions are not the exception to the rule. We run our experiences in Howick, guaranteeing a hear-racing adventure as you enjoy the stunning backdrops of the area. Our instructors strive to create an enjoyable atmosphere under safety regulations, so expect a day of pure fun and unforgettable moments.
We can cater our sessions for groups of up to twelve people, allowing you to gather your mates for a unique and different getaway, We also arrange sessions for kids. Just let us know and we'll make it happen!
