We are an Adventurous Activity Licensing Authority approved centre, as well as being a Mountain Leader Training Englad, Canoe Wales and Royal Yacht Assocation training centre, we are also a member of the Institute for Outdoor Learning. When you think about a boat that can take 2 to 3 people you need to realize that while it does make it easier to propel the boat with everyone working together, first you need to get everyone working together! Our fully qualified instructors will use their knowledge and extensive experience to help you work as a team as you explore the harbour and take on a range of man made and natural challenges as you learn what it means to really work as a team.

CMC Pensarn Harbour Kayaking is in the best spot to enjoy this brilliant watersport, with the harbour being right next to the centre, we spend less time travelling to sites, and more time paddling.

Different groups require different things, some want to learn the basic techniques, others want to tour the area taking in the amazing sights kayaking makes available while others want to enjoy surfing in their kayak and exploring for greater challenges. Our experienced and fully qualified instructors are able to deliver an experience tailored to your groups level of experience, ability and your goals.

Join CMC Pensarn Harbour Canyoning for a fun filled, adrenaline soaked adventure through the nearby Afon River.

Swim, walk, scramble, slide down a beautiful river, leaping into pools of fresh cool water  as you negotiate a mountain gorge. Get out on the water for a rafting day with a difference with CMC Pensarn Harbour Rafting.

At the beginning of the day we had out lifejackets, wetsuits and helmets. Next you would be expecting some kind of vessel to take out on the water, well here is the twist. We supply you with poles, rope and water tight barrels and, under expert supervision you will create your own raft. You will find that you will not only need to design a watercraft that stays together, is fast and sturdy enough to stay together as you compete in races and challenges, but everyone needs to paddle in unison otherwise you just end up traveling in circles!

Raft building is an experience where cooperation is tantamount to success and is a great learning experience for those looking to improve teamwork and behaviours conducive to living and succeeding in society, leadership, communication and teamwork.
