All instructors and technicians are highly experienced and professionally qualified. We provide all equipment and design outdoor adventure and bespoke team building events for up to200 people.

Key Adventures Outdoor Activities and Team Building Canyoning is our most popular activity and we have a fantastic variety of gorges and ghylls available to scramble in the Lake District, Cumbria

Ghyll scrambling involves scrambling up or down a gorge, wading pools and climbing waterfalls. Fantastic fun!

Our gorge scrambling adventures include:

Welcome to Key Adventures Outdoor Activities and Team Building Raft building in the Lake District.

Raft building and racing is fantastic fun and an excellent problem solving challenge and team bonding activity.

Sub-teams of 4-6 participants build their raft from basic materials including wooden poles, lengths of rope and water tight barrels, complete a water-worthiness test and proceed to the start line for a speed and manouvrability challenge.

Raft building normally lasts between 1 – 3 hours and is suitable for all ages and abilities.

We offer some of the finest rock climbing in Europe and there are literally hundreds of crags to choose from throughout the UK.

Choose to rock climb in the Lake District, Snowdonia, Peak District or Yorkshire Dales.

We cater for all levels of experience; it is a physically challenging activity but we will select the best crags to climb for your age and ability.

Climbing can also be a great team bonding activity as we usually get participants to belay each other, which develops trust and collaboration between climber and partner.

Rock climbing can be part of a full outdoor activity day including abseiling, gorge scrambling or raft building, hillwalking or ridge scrambling.

Key Adventures Outdoor Activities and Team Building Abseiling takes place in the Lake District, Snowdonia, Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and at various locations for corporate team building and charity fundraising challenge events.

Enjoy abseiling from heights of up to 40 metres!

We can accommodate up to 80 participants at any one time and all equipment is provided by us. A typical session lasts between 2 - 4 hours.

You can take part in abseiling as an individual activity or as part of a multi-activity package including gorge scrambling, rock climbing, raft building, hillwalking or ridge scrambling. Call us for details of more adventure activities.

With Key Adventures Outdoor Activities and Team Building Caving, have a fantastic adventure discovering and exploring caves. Explore the fascinating underground world that´s hidden to the naked eye and participate in one of the most adventurous sports in the UK.

Caving is appropriate for almost anyone, children as young as five can participate. This is an excellent activity for team building, corporate days, hen and stag parties or just as a leisure activity. Tours last from one to six hours and there is professional and qualified caving instructors and the required gear.
